A pair of easy chairs in elm by Fritz Hansen, 1940’s
A pair of easy chairs in elm wood with rounded, open frames and softly curved armrests. The chairs have removable seat cushions upholstered in a blue fabric, finished with blue and white striped piping that follows the circular seat shape. The light wooden frames create an airy, balanced structure that contrasts with the saturated textile. This model, titled Model 1774, was designed by Aage Herman Olsen in 1945 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen in 1948. Presented together, the chairs form a playful and cohesive pair with a clear visual rhythm.
