Composed in 1932. Woven GÅ 14‑2 1947. Woven by the weavers Ebba Persson and Asta Nilsson.

Focus

In 1943, Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf ordered a large porcelain rug for Sofiero Castle in Helsingborg.
The pattern Porslinsmattan is one of the few patterns that Märta Måås-Fjetterström also composed in another color scale but with a small variation: the rose flower. Other patterns are Brown heath and Blue heath and Green meadow
and Red Green Meadow.

Märta Måås-Fjetterström

Märta Måås-Fjetterström (1873–1941) was a renowned Swedish textile artist and one of the most influential figures in the Swedish Arts and Crafts movement, particularly known for her contributions to Scandinavian weaving and rug design. She is best remembered for her exquisite handwoven rugs and textiles, which became highly prized both in Sweden and internationally.
