Just Andersen

Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a prominent figure in the early to mid-20th century, particularly noted for his expertise in crafting decorative metal objects, including lamps, candleholders, and other lighting fixtures.

He is best remembered for blending functionality with art, creating pieces that were both practical and visually striking. Andersen's designs often incorporated elements of Art Deco and Scandinavian modernism, with clean lines and a focus on craftsmanship.

His lighting designs, in particular, gained attention for their elegant use of metal, glass, and sometimes stone, creating pieces that were both functional and sculptural. Andersen’s work has been admired for its timeless appeal and its combination of artistry with utility.
