A sculptural ceramic sea shell by Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997), produced at Rörstrand, Sweden. The work is inspired by natural marine forms and displays Nylund’s distinctive organic approach, where sculptural volume and surface texture are carefully balanced. The shell form is richly modelled, with a subtly spiralling structure and a softly variegated glaze in muted earth tones, enhancing its tactile and naturalistic character.
