Three peach-colored stools with cushions from “The Eden Collection” by Swedish designer Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist

These three stools can be a quirky addition to almost any setting with their unique colour and beautiful cushions. These hail from “The Eden Collection” which was developed for Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in Stockholm, Sweden by acclaimed furniture designer Kerstin-Hörlin-Holmquist in the 1970’s. The stools are made from peach-colored lacquered ribbed wood and have metal cushioned swivel feet. All of them are signed with applied brass manufacturer’s tag.

Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist

Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist was a Swedish artist and designer, known for her work in the field of textile design. She was born in 1930 and became notable in the mid-20th century for her innovative and artistic approach to textiles, contributing significantly to Swedish design.
