Sven Wejsfelt

Sven Wejsfelt (born in 1942) is a renowned Swedish ceramic designer, known for his innovative and modern approach to ceramics. He became famous for his work in the 1970s and 1980s, and his pieces often feature bold shapes, clean lines, and an emphasis on simplicity and functionality.

Wejsfelt’s work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, drawing inspiration from Swedish design principles, which emphasize functionality, sustainability, and timeless beauty. His ceramics often combine aesthetic appeal with practical use, making his pieces highly collectible today.

He was associated with the Swedish porcelain company Rörstrand, one of Sweden’s most prestigious porcelain manufacturers, and he created many iconic designs for them.
