Andersson & Johansson Höganäs two ceramic pots

These Swedish floor vases by Andersson & Johansson, crafted in the 1940s at Höganäs, are an elegant example of Scandinavian ceramic artistry. Standing 47 cm tall, the vases are made from stoneware and features a creamy white glaze that gives them a soft, refined finish. The vases’ design includes vertical ridges with subtle decorative detailing, adding texture and depth to their smooth and rounded forms. Their stamped markings, “AJ Höganäs Made in Sweden,” emphasize the authentic Swedish craftsmanship. This pair beautifully reflects the Scandinavian approach to combining simplicity with organic, understated details.
