Striped Bronze Lidded Jar

This bronze lidded jar by Vendor, Copenhagen, from the latter half of the 20th century, features a striking vertical stripe pattern in raised relief. Alternating polished and darkened bronze segments give the vessel a strong rhythmic presence, emphasizing its rounded, sculptural form. The lid is topped with a faceted finial that adds a refined geometric accent. With its weighty material and elegant detailing, it serves as both a decorative statement and a functional container.
